Wedding Photography

We have been photographing weddings for a number of years, and have been lucky enough to have worked with some great couples, and at some fantastic venues including Blenheim Palace, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Heythrop Park, Bisham Abbey and many more.
During the day we will photograph the bride’s preparations (or the groom’s if you prefer); the moments before, during and after the ceremony; family and friends at the ceremony and reception venues; candid moments and close-up details of the day, and of course portraits of the bride and groom.
Once you return from your honeymoon we will provide you with a set of proofs, from which you can make your final choice of images for your prints or album. We can also provide other options including a DVD of all the images, mini albums for friends and relatives, and individually framed prints. Have a look at the wedding pricing page for more details, but if there’s something in particular you have in mind do get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is your photography style?
A. For us weddings are all about the excitement and emotion of the day, and the special moments that happen between you, your family and your friends. Our aim is to capture these moments, and provide you with a set of beautiful and memorable images. Our approach is always to be as unobtrusive as possible during the day, whilst still capturing the images that matter.
Q. How do we book?
A. We always have an initial face-to-face meeting, where we can discuss all aspects of your wedding, and the type of coverage you require. Once you’ve decided on which package you’d like, it’s simply a matter of signing the contract and providing a small retainer. After that there’s nothing to pay until 30 days before your wedding.
Q. Will you travel outside London for Weddings?
A. Yes, we are available for commissions throughout the UK. Travel inside the M25 is included, outside of this there is a small charge.
Q. What kind of equipment do you photograph with?
A. Silver Ink Studio uses Canon digital professional gear. We are continually investing in new equipment, to give you the quality you expect.
Q. Can we get the high resolution files? (Digital Negatives)
A. Yes, you can receive high resolution images. You have the option of including this in your wedding package, or purchasing them at a later date. We give you an unlimited copyright release for you to reproduce your wedding images for personal use.
Q. How many images will we receive if we opt for the high resolution files?
A. This all depends on the type of coverage you have selected for your wedding day – typically it will be between 250-350.
Q. How do we view our wedding images?
A. Your images will be posted in an online gallery approximately 3 weeks after the event. This gallery can be shared with friends and family across the globe, or kept private if you wish. This unique service allows you the freedom to view your files in the comfort of your own home whenever you choose. This personal gallery will stay on line for 3 months time. If your gallery needs to be online for longer, there will be a fee for additional time.
Q. How long will it take to receive our prints and album?
A. We process orders on a first come first serve basis. When we receive the orders we prioritize them in the order that they were received and generally have print orders completed within 3 weeks time. Album orders can take up to 6 weeks to process, depending on capacity at the lab at that time.
